About Michael

I am an ivy-league educated philosopher from the U.S. who has recently relocated to Scotland. In over a decade of teaching at top U.S. universities I have met every kind of student and have always prioritized making philosophy, which at times seems impossible and incomprehensible, a source of clarity, personal insight, and even fun.

About the lesson

A decade as a philosophy professor has taught me that philosophy is hard for students, but with a little guidance things become a lot clearer. I will help you with everything from comprehending difficult texts, crafting answers to both comprehension questions and open-ended exam questions, and refining your writing.
