About Aryan

I am Aryan, a current Computer Science student at the University of Sheffield. Teaching has always been a genuine calling for me, and I have always felt thrilled to share my knowledge with others. I strongly believe that it is my obligation to give back to society, and one of the best ways I can do that is by sharing my main strength, which happens to be maths. Throughout my educational journey, I have received valuable knowledge and guidance from teachers, mentors, and society as a whole. Now, I feel a deep sense of responsibility to pass on what I have learned and contribute to the growth and development of others. I believe that education is a powerful tool that can empower individuals and make a positive impact on their lives. Mathematics has been a subject that I have excelled in and enjoyed throughout my academic career. I have found that my passion for maths, combined with my desire to help others, makes teaching the subject a natural fit for me. By sharing my expertise in maths, I aim to demystify the subject, help students overcome challenges, and enable them to see the beauty and practical applications of mathematics in their daily lives. About the lesson

The approach I have for my students is unique. Firstly, we will review exam questions to illustrate the key concepts they need to understand from the textbook. Then, I will teach them using simple examples, enabling them to learn the maths instead of memorising it and allowing them to see how this knowledge can be applied. Through this process, we will identify the students' strengths and areas where they need more help, ensuring a thorough comprehension of the topics and readiness for the exam. To gauge their progress, the students will take the exam twice, with me observing during the first attempt to take note of their approaches. After the exam, I will provide feedback on their performance. For the second attempt, we will go through the exam paper together, applying the knowledge and strategies discussed earlier. This comprehensive approach aims to enhance their understanding and problem-solving skills.

Maths is an important subject and not many people have the confidence to teach because of the different ways that you can solve a problem for some people it would just be hard to teach or learn because of how many ways there are to solve a question.
