About Beste

I am a graduate of Middle East Technical University- Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I can prepare lesson plans for all ages and levels considering the needs of the student. I attended TOEFL workshops and I have a certificate from ETS Global. I can give training for the TOEFL exam. Also, I have taught private lessons at the secondary school level and I have some experience with adult students as I did my internship for the prep school students at Middle East Technical University. Apart from that, I have a certificate for Teaching English to Young Learners (3-10 years old). We can also, arrange speaking classes for you to expertise in speaking skills.

About the lesson

I plan my lessons according to student needs and priorities. I prefer speaking and writing-oriented lessons because language learning develops by using language in a productive way. I take great value to prepare interactive lessons where students can practice the language. I use the indirect approach, which is not prescriptive or deductive. Therefore, I think that learning based on experience and practice is better and easier for students. So, I go through activities where the students will be very active by learning by discovering the language themselves. I believe if language learning is based on rules, it will soon be forgotten. Thus, I encourage you to use the language whenever possible and invite you to an English learning experience that is far from the memorisation of the rules.
