About Dominique

As a fourth year medical student, I have extensive experience in writing application essays and articles, undergoing interviews, succeeding in standardized tests and course examinations, performing scientific research, and much more in my road to becoming a doctor. I have learned valuable information along the way, and hope to pass on the tips and knowledge that I have gained to others in helping them reach their goals and become successful.

I have been teaching for over 10 years, starting as a tutor in high school. I continued to tutor students in college, and additionally was hired as a Teaching Assistant by the university's Biology Department to teach science courses. I continue to teach lectures, lead small groups, and offer one-on-one assistance and mentoring to students in medical school.

Bachelor's in Physiology and Neurobiology

Will graduate with M.D. in 2021

About the lesson

My initial consultation involves conducting a needs assessment, reviewing goals, and developing a study strategy and long-term plan for success. We will also discuss what learning techniques work best for you, and what you expect from me as a tutor and mentor.

Elementary school, middle school, high school, college.

I have also helped graduate-level students with essay writing and interview prep.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What is my end goal? What milestones do I need to achieve to get there? What type of learning and teaching style works best for me? What in particular am I looking to gain from working with a tutor?
