About Jules

Hey Y'all! My name is Dr. “Overcomer”. I've been a professional educator for over 19 years now and it's been my mission to see you thrive, grow, & succeed.

I have struggled in school, even got F's in college, was told that I would not amount to anything. BUT, that didn't stop me. I'm glad I kept going, because I have been successful in and out of my classrooms. I have a lots of stories, motivation, coaching, and encouragement to give because of life’s lessons.

It is my honor to get to serve students and help whomever I can along the way.

My experience ranges from pre-K to adults in public, private, and collegiate education. I currently work with students, have afterschool programming available in person and virtually.

I started on my path to become a teacher after realizing that was what I was called to do, when I was going through college I took a substitute job working in a public school district.

Just so you know, I have a Bachelors degree of Science, Minor in English Literature and I have a masters degree in Global Education with a focus in policy and learning from Chicago Illinois Urbanna Champaign. I also have an administrative Executive Leadership Administrative Degree from Lamar University, which allows me to serve as an administrator in the public school system.

About the lesson

When I work with the students we Will do a quick meet and greet, icebreaker, and a mini servey to check your learning style. This won't take long, but if it's too much, we can just talk through it and get you settled in. My hope is to see where you are what services you're looking for and how can I can contribute to your success.

As a professional educator we get to work with all types of students. Students with Special needs, learning disabilities, students who are behind, students who need extra help, and many more. The goal is always to find any need and meet it.
