I had hope but no expectations when I decided to hire a tutor to help me prepare for my LSAT. I had taken the test in the past and even with intense study sessions, practice exams and many other tools I received the worst score I had ever gotten. I purchased LSAT Test Max prep and went through the entire course. I studied the modules, books and took practice tests for well over one year. I consistently scored around 150 on all practice test. Figuring I needed to do something different, about 2 months before my test, I ordered the LSAT Trainer by Mike Kim and spent about one month on that and still saw no improvement in my practice test scores. With 3 weeks left before my test date I found Ms. Tynisha Lewis and thank GOD I did. We scheduled in person tutoring in my home and she began working with me exactly 19 days before the test date. I scored a 149 on the last test BEFORE I began working with her. She and I had 2 sessions and my score jumped up to a 156. We had more sessions and I scored a 158 on the last practice test before my exam. On the final LSAT I scored a 157 and believe it was because I sort of panicked at some point in the exam, but believe I could have easily gotten a 160+. Tynisha was able to identify and correct what I was doing wrong and improve what I was doing correctly. Her personality was such that it gave me a firm, yet friendly push to go all in and give it all I have. I know that my improvement was due to her careful analysis of where I was and her LSAT mastery got me where I wanted to be.
