About Dan

Over 15 years experience tutoring all levels of math including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, PreCalculus, and Calculus.

I enjoy working with students and helping them enjoy mathematics while helping them gain confidence in their abilities.

I have always enjoyed mathematics. After majoring in math at Mississippi College my passion grew and teaching was the perfect fit for me because I have the privilege of working with students and helping them to see the beauty of mathematics.

I have over 15 years of experience teaching and tutoring at the junior high, high school, and college level. I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Mississippi College, Master's from Wake Forest University, and PhD from University of Southern Mississippi.

About the lesson

To meet COVID-19 social distancing precautions, I meet students via Zoom online. I have access to a virtual whiteboard and screen sharing to help make the online transition feel more like a face-to-face interaction. I assist students with homework and assignments to help them gain a better understanding of the material and gain confidence in their own mathematical ability.

I have worked with all types of students ranging from junior high to college. My daughter has dyslexia and dyscalculia and I have a heart for those like her who struggle in math.
