About John Lou

Hi. My name is John. I am 20 years old. I am currently a tertiary junior Mechanical Engineering student in one of the finest universities here in the Philippines. Aside from being a student, I am also an athlete- part of the institute's volleyball varsity team. I played volleyball since my 9th grade. Through the said sport I was able to learn the value discipline and time management. I have an experience in teaching ESL online. I am also a former home-based admins in one of the biggest ESL companies here in the Philippines where I conducted system check and demo lesson to applicants. I can teach ENGLISH, PHYSICS and MATHEMATICS.

The most fulfilling thing in tutoring students is knowing that they have grasped and comprehend the lessons I taught them. It is my gratitude to impart knowledge to them in lowest price. I want them to be comfortable with me while learning. So I hope you'll choose me.

Way back 2017. I private tutor for 2 years and then I tried to do ESL teaching, luckily, I passed and hired.

-I have a TEFL certificate (120 hrs).

- I am a former journalist during my highschool years - news writer, editorial writer, photojournalism, radio broadcasting and essay writing.

- I am in the field of Engineering - certainly in Mechanical Engineering, so basically, I can teach Mathematics and Physics.

About the lesson

I prefer to teach students through online. We could negotiate in most easy way. I'll give my students the luxury in choosing the learning platforms they want to use - SKYPE, Zoom, Classin and the likes.

I have worked mostly with none-native English speakers- Japanese and Chinese. Even though that there is a language barrier, still, I was able to convey the lessons properly and I am gratified knowing that they were able to comprehend my discussions.
