About AC

Thanks in advance for choosing me as your tutor! My mission is to help students fast-track their boldest academic goals. My academic coaching and tutoring services help clients master the content, not just teach to a test. By focusing on the content, not just test-taking skills, I help clients translate valuable skills into confidently pursuing their academic and career goals. Also, I offer discounts for referrals and recurring sessions.

I love empowering students and teachers to be bold and seeing them achieve their goals. I have been teaching and tutoring for over a decade and currently hold a teaching certification in science. I attended both Spelman College and the University of Michigan, then completed the Atlanta University Center Dual Degree Engineering Program with degrees in chemistry and engineering. To help me pursue my passion for STEM education, I was awarded a three-year teaching fellowship and a Master's degree in education from the University of Michigan. Since then, I've started multiple social ventures and have served in numerous roles advocating for equitable access to STEM education.

About the lesson

I like to start with a 15 minute consultation to discuss goals and upcoming test dates if applicable. From there, I create and share a recommended tutoring plan that can be adjusted as needed. Potential clients can book a consultation here: (concealed information)

Although I primarily work with middle schoolers, high school students, and adults, I have worked with all types of students.

My advice is to start with a quick consultation via Zoom, so you can see how the tutor works and shares resources. In my consultations, I show clients how I creatively use my iPad and OneNote to capture our sessions, and you’ll have the notes from our sessions in perpetuity.

I love hearing when my clients ace their tests! Kudos to them. Their hard work paid off (and yours will too)!

Perfect! Acer is wonderful teacher who helps my kid to understand his subjects. She works with english writing and grammar corrections, also makes sure he understood it. She teaches new concepts in Science and makes him to complete his projects. She provides many enrichment lessons and homework's along with concept learning which helps him to be ahead of his school curriculum. My kid was working with her for past two years and improved in his academics and performing better. Also she is flexible with the schedule and can have a quick meeting sessions whenever he needs assistance. Thank you AC for your teaching.
