About Emily

I tutored while I was in High School, as well as, most recently, taking small tutoring jobs locally. I love teaching others about the principles of both biology and psychology, and help them understand how your body and mind working together can shape you.

About the lesson

I believe that everyone learns differently, so I adapt my instructing style to my students individual needs, and learning pace. I break down complex topics, into simple and understandable explanations. I want them to understand not only what something means, but also why it matters. I want them to understand that asking questions, and making mistakes is a completely normal part of learning. My goal is to help students develop a deeper understanding of biology and psychology, feel comfortable asking questions, and to become more independent learners.
