My teaching method is based on simplifying and breaking down complicated questions into small pieces so students can easily understand it. In addition, giving students examples to perform by themselves to make sure of complete understanding and make them feel confident.
I approach subjects depending on the student(s) and what type of learner they are. I tend to work more with elementary aged students, but also do secondary school.
My teaching methodology is based on teaching with live examples and fun facts that makes studying and understanding the concept much easier. No jeed of cramming when you can understand.
I generally work with underclassmen high school students and elementary school students. I prefer to teach tailored to the students learning style (i.e. visual, audio, etc) and I am always open to hearing how you would prefer to be taught so I can give the best possible learning advice.
I base my sessions on in class topics being taught. I like to get my students interactive and exposed to the material as much as possible in order to get the most effective results. I do this by ensuring my clients understand the theoretical concepts to be able to apply them to knowledge and problem solving questions.

As useful as I can be, my ultimate aim is to teach students to become independent learners. The buzzword in both high schools and universities these days is critical thinking: encouraging students to analyse subjects in a deeper, more analytical manner.
I try to teach my classes by looking at what the student knows, and doesn't know, and try to show many examples until the student understands how to do a topic by themselves. I prepare the material prior to the class starts, but will improvise if the student prefers to learn different material.
My tutoring sessions include a well-planned approach where students will enjoy improving their confidence, knowledge and attitude to learning. I measure a successful session together if the student has felt respect, freedom, the importance of goal-setting and an appreciation for the knowledge gained.
As a teacher my method was to hold high expectations of my students and provide structure within the classroom and in my lessons and activities. As a tutor, flexibility is key to understanding students needs as some students may need homework help while others may require additional practice or differentiated method.
We learn theory at school but often the teachers don’t explain what this is relevant to in the real world. But this relevance is exactly why we study and educate our children, because we want them to be fully prepared for the real world.
