About Lily

I am a passionate and experienced educator with over 7 years of teaching experience, specialising in teaching EYFS and KS1.

Currently working as a Year 1 teacher and the school’s Phonics and Early Reading Lead, I am dedicated to supporting all children.

My approach is child-centred, focusing on each individual’s learning style to build confidence and key skills, particularly in phonics, literacy and communication.

I believe in making learning enjoyable and engaging, ensuring every child reaches their full potential.

About the lesson

I tailor my lessons to each child’s unique needs, using a range of engaging, interactive techniques to keep them motivated. Lessons typically last an hour. Suitable for ages 3-7.
I offer online sessions, with in-person options depending on location. If your child is in KS2 please do reach out as I also support on a case by case basis!

Lily has been fantastic with our son. She’s patient and knows how to explain things in a way he really understands and finds quite funny lol. His teachers at school have noticed a big improvement in his focus, and his confidence. She always makes the lessons interesting and never rushes him. We’re more than pleased with the progress he’s made, and it’s clear she genuinely cares. We couldn’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for a dedicated and kind tutor.
