About Diogo
I have recently completed my Masters in Chemistry at UCL.
Academically, my first, second, third and fourth year averages have been 90%, 89%, 85% and 79% respectively. In my second year I came top of the year which consequently led to me being awarded the 'Christopher Ingold Award 2016'. My academic achievements also earned me the 'Andrew Macalpine Award' and a place on the 'Mathematical and Physical Sciences Faculty Dean's list 2018'.
I have previously tutored at one organisation collecting 2 years of experience here. My tutoring experience extends to friends and family members. Also, I was a student mentor for other Chemistry undergraduate students at UCL.

I have a Masters degree in Chemistry and am looking to help other Chemistry students.
I will ask what students beforehand what they need help with allowing me to prepare in depth lesson plans. This will also include time to help with any other material students may find challenging.
When tutoring, I am very friendly and easy to talk to. I make sure all my students know that I am here to help so if they don't understand something they should never feel shy to ask me again. If an individual does not understand a concept having explained it, I will change and adapt my explanation to ensure by the end of the session everyone feels confident with the material.
Most importantly, I want everyone to have fun while developing their understanding on the content!
