About Akansha

I am a Dublin-based IT professional with over 8 years of experience in the technology industry. I hold two Master’s degrees in Computer Science and Data Analytics, and I have a strong interest in teaching and helping students succeed in STEM subjects.
Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with problem-solving, logical thinking, and data-driven systems, which naturally aligns with the skills needed for Math and Computer Science. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simple, understandable concepts and making learning more approachable for students.
Although I am new to formal tutoring platforms, I have regularly supported colleagues, juniors, and students informally in understanding technical and mathematical concepts. I now want to use that experience in a more structured way to help school students improve their confidence and exam results.
Outside of work, I am passionate about technology, continuous learning, and education. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop strong analytical thinking skills that will benefit them beyond exams.

About the lesson

I help students improve their understanding and exam performance in Maths, Computer Science, and Biology through clear, structured, and practical teaching. My focus is on simplifying difficult topics and showing students exactly how to approach exam questions step by step.
Each lesson is 60 minutes and is highly interactive. We typically cover revision of key concepts, targeted problem-solving, and exam-style questions using past papers. I adapt each session based on the student’s needs—whether that is fixing gaps in understanding, improving grades, or preparing for upcoming exams.
I hold two Master’s degrees in Computer Science and Data Analytics and have over 8 years of experience working in the IT industry. I use real-world examples from technology and data to make abstract concepts easier to understand and more engaging for students.
My lessons are suitable for Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students (Ordinary and Higher Level). I especially support students who want to build confidence, improve exam technique, and achieve higher grades in a structured and consistent way.
First sessions are focused on identifying strengths and weaknesses so students and parents can see a clear learning plan from the start.
