About Tanaya

I am a university student at city university of London studying radiotherapy, and I achieved an A in GCSE maths. Maths was always my favourite subject during primary and secondary school and I’m willing to teach all the knowledge I have acquired to other students in light of achieving high grades.

About the lesson

My teaching method ensures that students enter feeling ready to learn and leave feeling much more confident about a particular subject. I will always begin my sessions with a starter in which content learnt in the previous session will be recapped and tested to ensure students are practicing and have understood the work. The majority of the session would include teaching methods and tips which allow students to find out which method best appeals to them when answering a question. I aim to use tasks such a quick whiteboard tasks as they are highly recommended in schools. The session will end with a quiz, testing students knowledge and understanding of the topic taught in that session.
