About Paula
I'm Paula, I'm 24 years old and I have a degree in Social Service from UFRGS. In 2021, I took pre-university courses again to enter the undergraduate course in Medicine, a course that I will also start at UFRGS in January 2022.
Since high school, I have always been passionate about educational work with children and adolescents, interest that started when I participated in a voluntary youth movement.
Several times I've worked with the public of children and teenagers and, being a committed, organized and patient person, I decided to take advantage of the availability of time I have to combine this interest with a possibility of income that can be reconciled with my student routine.

In addition to the services I offer as a baby-sitter, I assist children/adolescents who are having difficulties in the subjects taught in the classroom, through tutoring classes with a methodology based on the individual needs of the student.
Focusing on major difficulties of the student, I do lesson planning and help with school assignments in general. I have extensive knowledge of the great high school curriculum and, therefore, I am available to serve this audience in teaching almost all subjects - with the exception of arts and physical education.
In addition to explaining the content in a simple, effective and relaxed way (I use many examples to bring the content closer to the student's life), I apply and correct exercises and work for the student to develop their own methods for greater content retention (through revisions, mnemonics, spaced repetition, among other scientifically tested methods).
Furthermore, I have extensive knowledge of the elementary school curriculum I and II. Therefore, I assist students who are at these stages of school life as well, with an active study methodology that suits the child's age group.
