About Joel

I have been tutoring for just under a year and have tutored around 50-60 students. These students have all achieved grades B and above with around 50% A*s.

I achieved an A* at IGcse level and an A in Further Mathematics. I then went on to achieve a B at A-level Maths, English and Economics.

About the lesson

I am currently studying law but teach Maths alongside my degree as I've always had a passion for it. I tutor from ages 5-18. My teaching techniques vary with each student as each individual will learn using different methods. I tend to asses the students knowledge with each individual topic. I ensure that we have covered both simple and more complex questions with each topic. I then focus predominantly on the topics where the student did not score highly. After consolidating knowledge on each topic, I request the student complete a full timed paper to ensure everything has been covered to its fullest extent.
