About Tofigh

I migrated to New Zealand over 35 years ago, arriving with English as my second language. In those early years, I fully immersed myself in the language and culture, determined to adapt and thrive in my new home. Once I gained confidence, I pursued and completed my undergraduate studies in Business Management and Technology. Since then, I’ve spent over 25 years in executive leadership roles, including several CXO-level positions. Throughout my career, I’ve remained deeply passionate about coaching and mentoring. I find great fulfillment in helping students and young professionals unlock their potential and achieve excellence, whether in academic writing, communication, or professional development.

About the lesson

I specialise in helping undergraduate and international students master the art of academic writing and sharpen their reading and listening skills.

Drawing from my background as an executive professional, I bring real-world relevance to every session—connecting theory with practice through practical examples and clear strategies. My students don’t just learn how to write essays; they learn how to communicate with clarity, confidence, and professionalism.

Whether you're aiming to elevate your academic writing, prepare for presentations, or simply build stronger language skills, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
