About Matthew
I am a private tutor and associate tutor hosting undergraduate seminars at the University of East Anglia. Currently I am completing a PhD in Cognitive Psychology, researching empathy and memory. I have an undergraduate degree in Literature & Creative Writing and two Master's degrees, one in Critical Theory, the other in Psychology.

My teaching method is best described as dynamic. I endeavor to work towards understandings with my students and avoid lecturing them. To achieve this I engage them in a variety of exercises and games, which hopefully ensure learning is both fun and active. I consider myself to patient and adept at explaining ideas simply. Having taught individuals of all ages, I can quickly assess their needs and abilities and construct the lessons accordingly.
