About Nkiruka
I am a dedicated secondary school Chemistry teacher with experience teaching SS1–SS3 Chemistry and junior secondary Basic Science. Over the years, I have helped students achieve excellent results, including A1 grades in WAEC and NECO Chemistry, scores of 80 and above in JAMB, and successful passes in IGCSE exams, enabling students to gain admission into international universities. I enjoy helping students understand Chemistry clearly and gain confidence, especially in areas they find challenging such as calculations, practical questions, and exam techniques. Teaching is important to me because I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance and support. I approach my lessons with patience, professionalism, and a strong focus on helping students improve both their understanding and performance. Seeing students grow in confidence and achieve their academic goals is my greatest reward.

My approach to tutoring is clear, supportive, and exam-focused. I teach Chemistry by breaking down complex concepts into simple, step-by-step explanations, using practical examples and worked calculations to help students understand and apply what they learn. I regularly use practice questions and past exam-style questions to reinforce understanding and build confidence.
Lessons are interactive, and students are encouraged to ask questions freely. I continuously check for understanding during each lesson and adjust my teaching pace to suit the student’s learning needs.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, which allows enough time for explanation, guided practice, and feedback. Short revision or problem-solving sessions can also be arranged when needed.
I am a qualified secondary school Chemistry teacher with experience teaching SS1, SS2, and SS3, as well as Basic Science at the junior secondary level. I have worked with students of different learning abilities and understand common challenges students face in Chemistry.
My lessons are suitable for junior and senior secondary school students, especially those preparing for school tests and examinations. I also support students who want to strengthen their foundation in Chemistry and improve their overall performance.
