About Shrinjoy

When I was younger, I remember sitting at my desk staring at a page full of problems I didn’t understand. I felt stuck, frustrated, and even a little embarrassed to ask for help. But then, one teacher sat down with me—not to rush through the answers, but to really explain things in a way that made sense. That moment changed everything for me. It showed me that with the right guidance, learning doesn’t have to feel impossible. It can actually feel exciting. That’s why I want to teach. I know what it feels like to struggle, but I also know how powerful it is when things finally click. I want to be the person who helps you reach that moment—where the subject that once felt overwhelming starts to feel manageable, and where your confidence begins to grow. My approach is simple: I don’t just want to teach you the material, I want to teach it in a way that works for you. Everyone learns differently, and that’s something I respect and build my lessons around. Together, we’ll go at your pace, step by step, until you feel ready to take on challenges on your own. For me, tutoring isn’t just about grades (though those will improve!). It’s about helping you see what you’re capable of, and giving you the skills to keep growing far beyond our lessons. So if you’ve ever felt stuck the way I once did, know that I understand—and I’m here to help you through it. I provide specialist tuition in English, Science and Reasoning, and Interview Preparation for entrance Universities, SOP writing as well, I offer a free introductory phone consultation. My teaching is always focused on results, beginning with a detailed initial assessment to identify strengths and areas for improvement. From this, I design a structured study plan tailored to each student. Alongside academic subjects, I also provide expert guidance in exam strategies, interview skills, and confidence building—equipping students with the tools they need to perform at their very best in competitive environments. My teaching style focuses on three key principles: Tailored Learning Every student learns differently. I don’t use a “one-size-fits-all” method. Instead, I assess your strengths, weaknesses, and preferred style of learning, then build lessons around you. This way, you’ll feel confident instead of overwhelmed. Clarity & Confidence Struggling with a subject often comes from gaps in understanding. I break concepts down into clear, manageable steps, making even the hardest topics feel approachable. More importantly, I help you gain the confidence to tackle problems independently. Progress You Can See I set realistic, trackable goals so you can see your improvement over time. Whether it’s moving from a C to an A, or simply feeling less stressed in class, your progress will always be visible and motivating. What sets me apart? I listen to your concerns and adapt on the spot. I mix encouragement with challenge—you’ll feel supported but never stagnant. I aim not just for better grades, but for genuine understanding and lifelong skills. During our first session, I carry out a comprehensive diagnostic review of each student’s abilities. This initial evaluation forms the foundation for a customised learning programme designed to suit their specific strengths, challenges, and academic goals. I recognise that every learner approaches studies differently, so my lessons are always individually tailored. Each class is structured to address a combination of key areas, typically including English, Science, Reasoning, and Interview Skills, SOP writing. After every lesson, I provide parents with clear progress updates, ensuring complete transparency about development and next steps. With over two years of professional tutoring experience, I also design my own exclusive practice papers and targeted question sets. These materials—often sold by publishers for a significant fee—are made available at no additional cost as part of my service, and cannot be sourced anywhere else. In addition to academic tuition, I work closely with educational psychologists, which allows me to offer meaningful support for learners with additional educational needs. My experience includes teaching students with ADHD, dyslexia, and working memory difficulties, where I adapt strategies to help every child build both skill and confidence. In short: My tutoring isn’t about memorising; it’s about learning smarter, building confidence, and unlocking your potential.
