About Miranda

I believe all students can and should be successful. That it is my job as a teacher to make the content understandable to all learners. As a special education teacher I have worked with students at all levels of academic and social knowledge and have been successful at meeting their needs. As a teacher my average growth on nationally normed Assessments is 355% of traditionally set goals. I can and will help your child be successful academically.

About the lesson

I teach using a representational approach. Meaning students will not just learn algorithms, but visual strategies that can be used at all levels of math and help to make math accessible to all individuals. My classroom experience makes me the ideal candidate for families who want someone who intimately understands how learning works and how to best achieve success in an academic setting.
