About Umi

I am Umi, an English major with a strong passion for language, communication, and continuous learning. I believe that effective teaching is built on trust, clarity, and consistency, and I strive to create a learning environment where students feel supported and confident.
My academic background in English, combined with my hands-on teaching approach, allows me to guide students with patience and professionalism. I focus on clear explanations, practical usage of English, and steady progress rather than rushed learning. Each lesson is thoughtfully planned and adapted to the student’s level and goals.
I maintain a friendly yet disciplined classroom atmosphere, where students are encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow at their own pace. I value punctuality, preparation, and respectful communication, ensuring that every class is productive and engaging.
Whether you are a school student strengthening your foundation or a learner looking to improve overall English skills, I am committed to helping you learn with confidence and consistency.

About the lesson

As a teacher, I believe that learning English should feel natural, engaging, and stress-free. My approach focuses on interactive learning, where students are encouraged to speak, think, and express themselves rather than just memorize rules. I use real-life examples, simple explanations, and regular practice to help students build confidence in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
I adapt my teaching style according to the student’s level, pace, and learning goals. Mistakes are treated as part of the learning process, creating a safe and supportive environment.
