About Shae

I want to teach because I know how much of a difference clear explanation and proper support can make. During my own studies, I have seen that students often struggle not because they are incapable, but because topics are explained in a confusing or overly complicated way.

My aim is to make learning feel more manageable. I enjoy breaking difficult ideas down into simple steps, helping students build confidence, and showing them how to approach essays, exams and revision in a more structured way.

I also find teaching rewarding because it allows me to help students improve not only their grades, but also their belief in their own ability. For me, good tutoring is about creating a supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and gradually getting better.

About the lesson

I offer private tutoring for students who want clear, structured and practical support with their studies. My approach is friendly, patient and focused on helping students actually understand the material, rather than just memorise it. I can help with exam technique, essay planning, problem questions, revision strategies, and building confidence in difficult topics.

Having achieved strong results throughout my degree, I know how important it is to break complex ideas down into simple, manageable steps. I also understand how stressful exams and coursework can feel, so I aim to make sessions supportive, organised and tailored to each student’s needs.

Whether you need help improving your writing, preparing for exams, understanding key concepts, or developing a stronger study routine, I can provide clear guidance and practical feedback to help you progress.
