About Nina

Having graduated magna cum laude, a recipient of the Creative Achievement Award, and the student marshal for my college, I understand the work it takes to excel in academics. I also have a unique understanding of the toll that academics can have on a person's self-esteem and mental health. I strive to help my students discover not how to be the best in class, but how to enjoy learning; and when the latter happens, we might just find that the grades improve as well.

About the lesson

As an artist and creative, it has always been important to me that my students be allowed to approach their education in an individualized manner. That's why I see teaching as a human-first activity; by getting to know the people I'm working with, I can better craft an educational approach that suits their strengths and goals.

Learning is not a one-size-fits-all concept, and my lesson plans are built to support that theory. By discussing your needs and learning styles first, we can craft a progress-oriented path that uses skills you already have and hones new ones from the foundation up. I look forward to working with you!
