About Amena

I am a passionate and experienced English teacher committed to helping learners unlock their potential through the power of language. With a strong background in teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) and FLE (First Language English) learners from diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds, I strive to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences.

For me, teaching English is not just a job—it is a purpose. I believe that language opens doors to global opportunities, self-expression, and confidence. This belief drives my desire to share my knowledge, empower my students, and witness their growth as effective communicators in a globalized world.

Every lesson I teach is guided by a genuine enthusiasm to make English accessible, relevant, and enjoyable for all learners. Moreover, I possess a strong command of the English language, both in its structural and expressive forms. My expertise spans the core components of language instruction—grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and the four essential skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Additionally, I have a deep understanding of linguistic rules and communicative functions, which allows me to tailor lessons that are both technically accurate and contextually meaningful. Alongside language teaching, I am equally passionate about English literature.

I enjoy guiding students through a wide range of literary texts—from classic novels and modern short stories to poetry and drama—helping them explore themes, literary devices, and critical interpretations.

The ability to bridge language and literature enables me to cultivate both language proficiency and literary appreciation in my learners, encouraging them to think critically, express themselves creatively, and connect personally with what they read and write.

Whether preparing students for exams, academic pursuits, or personal enrichment, I aim to make English both a skill and an experience.
