About Tshiamo

I am a South African–Australian tutor who moved to Australia about a year ago, so I truly understand the challenges that many international students face when adapting to a new country, culture, and academic environment. Because I have experienced this transition myself, I strongly sympathize with the pressures of studying and communicating in English while settling into a new place.

I am currently studying psychology at university, which has strengthened my passion for understanding people and supporting them in reaching their goals. This background also shapes the way I teach — my sessions are client-centered, supportive, and professional, focusing on each student’s individual needs, learning style, and confidence.

My goal is not only to help students improve their English, but also to create a comfortable and motivating learning environment where they feel supported throughout their progress.

About the lesson

Hi! My name is Tee. I am a certified Level 5 TEFL English tutor specializing in IELTS test preparation. As an international student living in Australia, I understand how challenging moving to a new country and studying in English can be. I’m passionate about helping other international students build the confidence and language skills they need to succeed in university and everyday life.

With experience in the education field, I focus on practical strategies to improve Speaking, Writing, Reading, and Listening, while helping students feel more confident using English in real situations. As a current university student myself, I understand the level of English that universities expect, and I enjoy helping students reach that standard.

Although IELTS preparation is my main specialty, I am not limited to that area. I welcome students of all ages and levels who want to improve their general English, academic writing, grammar, or conversation skills.

Lessons are personalized to each student’s goals, and I offer flexible options including individual lessons (60 minutes) as well as structured lesson packages designed to support consistent progress and IELTS preparation.

My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and focused on real improvement. I look forward to helping you achieve your English goals!
