About Patrick

Hello! I’m Patrick, a certified TEFL teacher with a strong passion for helping students achieve their English language goals. Whether you're learning English for school, work, travel, or personal growth, I bring professionalism, patience, and a tailored approach to every lesson. I hold an internationally recognized TEFL certification and have experience working with learners from diverse backgrounds and language levels. I take pride in creating a welcoming and structured learning environment where students feel supported and motivated to speak, make mistakes, and grow. You can expect a clear lesson plan, personalized feedback, and steady progress. My commitment is not just to teach English, but to help you use it confidently and effectively in the real world. Learning a new language can be challenging—but with the right support, it can also be exciting, empowering, and even fun. I look forward to helping you reach your full potential in English. — Patrick

About the lesson

As a certified TEFL tutor, I focus on creating an engaging, student-centered environment where language is not just learned but lived. My teaching method combines communicative language teaching (CLT) with task-based learning (TBL), ensuring students gain confidence through practical use of English in real-world situations. I tailor lessons to each learner’s goals, whether for academic success, career advancement, or everyday conversation.

A typical lesson with me begins with a warm-up activity to review previous material and build comfort. We then explore new language through guided discovery—grammar, vocabulary, or pronunciation—always tied to meaningful context. The second half of the lesson involves speaking or writing tasks where students actively use what they’ve learned, followed by feedback and correction. I often incorporate authentic materials like videos, articles, or real-world role plays to keep things relevant and dynamic.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students of all backgrounds and adjust my approach on the fly. I emphasize encouragement and confidence-building, helping students overcome fear of speaking and make measurable progress quickly.

My lessons are ideal for teens, university students, and adult learners from A2 to C1 levels, including those preparing for IELTS, TOEFL, or improving workplace communication.
