About Maya

I graduated from Berkeley High School in 2025 with the International Baccalaureate diploma. I now attend Georgetown University with planned double majors in psychology and sociology, and a minor in medical humanities. I am on the pre-medical pathway. I am also a 7x world record holder in open water swimming and have raised over $190,000 for pediatric cancer programs at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals. I have extensive experience public speaking through this aspect of my life and my activities, and it has helped me a lot through my English comprehension.

About the lesson

I would love to help elementary/middle/high school work on their reading comprehension, spelling, and grammar practice. Through each lesson, we will work on specific rules and lessons before practicing with different worksheets and then reading passages to help apply what we have learned.
