About Mia
I have loved reading ever since I was young, so also very quickly became involved in creative writing. My love for essay based subjects has meant I put in 110% effort when it comes to inspiring other people, as I know myself just how uplifting and inspiring it can be. In 2020 I attended a creative writing course, which further inspired me to continue the hobby in my personal time, as well as dedicating a lot of my study time to these subjects- which is reflected by the high grades.

I will take a personalised approach that is specific to the students requirements for their lessons or exam boards. This would include thorough explanation to aid understanding of set texts, helping children with expanding their vocabulary through reading, which also has an impact on their spelling ability, and help in essay planning and practice.
These lessons can range from 45 minutes to an hour and a half depending on the specific targets for that session.
I have achieved As and A*s in my essay based A level subjects, and grades 8 and 9 ( A* equivalent) at GCSE.
I have had tutoring jobs within my school for children aged 11-16, so have experience of these ages and am willing to tutor this age group.
