About Anastasiia

I have been using English professionally for more than 10 years in international work environments, primarily in the IT, game development, and banking industries. English has been an essential part of my daily professional communication, including meetings, presentations, stakeholder management, mentoring, written communication, and collaboration with international and distributed teams.

I also lived in the United Kingdom for several years. This experience significantly improved my practical English skills, cultural awareness, confidence in communication, and understanding of natural everyday English.

For more than 5 years, I have also worked as a Project Management Mentor at Hillel IT School, where I support students and aspiring project managers in developing their professional skills. I help students understand project management concepts, prepare for their careers, improve their professional communication, and build confidence when presenting and discussing their ideas.

My teaching and mentoring approach is practical, supportive, and tailored to each learner. I believe that the best way to improve English is to use it actively in realistic situations rather than focus only on theory. Depending on the student's goals, I can focus on conversational English, Business English, workplace communication, meetings, presentations, interviews, professional vocabulary, and confident self-presentation.

My main subject expertise is English for IT and business professionals, particularly for people working in or planning to enter international companies. I can also help students who want to improve their English for career development, job interviews, communication with international colleagues, and professional growth.

I do not currently hold a formal English-teaching certification, but I bring more than 10 years of real-world professional English experience, several years of living in the UK, and more than 5 years of structured mentoring experience.
