About Shokunbi

I’m a passionate Early Years Tutor with over three years of experience helping children aged 3–10 become confident, capable readers. I specialize in using play-based, phonics-driven instruction to build foundational skills in reading, spelling, and grammar. My approach is child-centered and nurturing—every lesson is tailored to each learner’s pace and style, making reading both enjoyable and accessible. I’m committed to creating a supportive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and empowered to grow into fluent, enthusiastic readers.

About the lesson

My lessons are warm, interactive, and thoughtfully designed to build confidence in early readers. I use a play-based, phonics-led approach that helps children aged 3–10 develop key literacy skills—such as letter recognition, blending, spelling, and grammar—in a fun and engaging way. Each session is personalized to suit your child’s pace, interests, and learning style, whether they’re just starting out or need extra support to strengthen their reading and writing. My goal is to make learning enjoyable while ensuring steady progress and growing independence in every learner.
