About Kyra
It is impossible to describe the feeling of mastering something - a skill, a brief, a math problem - when you have learned it. For me, education is allowing people to discover blind spots and think differently so that they can gain empowerment through mastering their own education and later using that confidence in to deal with other problems that arise.
In addition to teaching for the military, I have also mentored in ESL and afterschool programs, and trained tech company Trust and Safety teams.
It would be my pleasure to help you or your child master a subject! :)

My style: Our lessons build upon each other, so you'll progress seamlessly. We'll focus on problem areas and make sure you understand them before moving on. We'll practice what you've learned together by doing exercises.
Time: Lessons last 40 minutes.
Background: Over 1,000 Soldiers have taken my courses and I was certified as a Master Trainer. My free time is spent mentoring Spanish speakers.
Ages: The lessons can be customized for any age group, from teaching English to children to helping adults be more confident in public speaking.
