About House wife life

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, and I offer a unique opportunity by explaining the English phonetics and spelling patterns systematically, like solving a puzzle. I am a native speaker of Hindi and Urdu, and my B2 level of fluency in English is flawless.

What motivated me to become a teacher in 2018 was the number of small children who were feeling awkward or nervous about their struggles in reading aloud and spelling words. My idea was to show the children that with some effort and guidance, any child could learn to read without any worries.

I have a light-hearted approach towards teaching and am always smiling during classes. In my leisure time, I enjoy cooking, knitting, hiking, doing DIY projects and watching Indian and Western movies.

Every child is unique, and I promise you that your child will feel important, protected, and excited about speaking and writing in class. I look forward to meeting your child in our class!

About the lesson

Hi there! This is Jayshri. I feel that learning to read and communicate in any language should be a fun and exciting experience, not one fraught with anxiety and difficulty.

For three years now, I've been helping children from K-12 level gain confidence with English reading and speaking skills. My focus has been on equipping them with the basics required to become effective communicators; Phonetics (sound of letters), Spelling rules, Reading comprehension, and test preparation with confidence.

Teaching Approach:

Sound and Spelling Fun: I create visual stories and games to make learning sound and spelling rules interesting.

Safe and Kind Environment: My classes are loving environments with no pressure to perform and make mistakes are considered fun learning experiences.

Mindful Test Preparation: For the older children, I help them prepare for English school tests in an environment where mindfulness techniques are used to overcome test anxiety. I also use tools such as Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Google NotebookLM, Gizmo, and utilize proper learning resources to make sure no student is left out!

Class Schedule:

We will have online classes of 50 to 60 minutes long. These classes will be entirely based on your child's pace of learning. Let's be a team in making English easy for your child!
