About Maiurei

I am a full-time primary school teacher with six years of experience teaching across Key Stage 2. I have completed training in delivering highly effective reading and writing lessons, ensuring strong outcomes across the curriculum.

Alongside my classroom role, I have over ten years of tutoring experience, supporting pupils from Year 3 to Year 11 in both mathematics and English. I have worked within a range of well-established tutoring centres, including Kumon, Study Box and Just11Plus, which has provided me with extensive experience in structured programmes, exam preparation and targeted intervention.

I have developed a wide range of high-quality resources and adopt a flexible, child-centred approach to tailor lessons to each learner’s individual needs. I am experienced in supporting children of all abilities, including those who require additional support or lack confidence, and I am committed to helping every child achieve expected and often accelerated progress.

I highly recommend Maiurei as a tutor. She supported my daughter with her 11+ exams, and the difference she made was remarkable. Her teaching was extremely clear, structured, and very child-friendly, which really helped build my daughter’s confidence and understanding. As a primary school teacher, Maiurei’s professional skills truly shone through — you could clearly see her expertise in the way she explained concepts and adapted lessons to suit my child’s needs. She is by far the best tutor my daughter has had, surpassing any others we’ve worked with before. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to other parents.
