About Ellie
My name is Ellie, it's nice to meet you! I am an English teacher with 12 years of experience working in education. I have taught English in over 4 countries including China, Mexico, and the United States. I have worked with students ranging from beginner to professional, from ages 4 to Ph.D. candidates. I am currently living in Chicago, USA, and want to share my lessons with the world!

My teaching style is laid-back and non-judgmental, while still being rigorous and expansive. I teach through many mediums including videos, PPTs, and worksheets which I provide. There is homework after every lesson and we correct the homework in real time in our class, emphasizing repetition, ensuring maximum retention and the knowledge of how to use the vocabulary words and grammar rules we discuss.
