About Claudia

As a middle school teacher and accomplished author, I bring a unique perspective to the classroom. With a wealth of experience in both education and literature, I am passionate about fostering a love for learning and creativity in my students. Beyond the classroom, my expertise as an author enriches my teaching, allowing me to incorporate real-world examples and insights into my lessons. Through engaging discussions and hands-on activities, I inspire young minds to explore the wonders of language and storytelling. My extensive background in writing, including numerous books and children's literature, equips me to nurture the next generation of writers and readers. Together, we embark on a journey of discovery, imagination, and growth.

About the lesson

As an educator, my teaching method emphasizes student engagement and active participation. I employ a variety of techniques, including group discussions, multimedia presentations, and hands-on activities, tailored to the needs of middle school students. A typical lesson plan consists of clear objectives, warm-up activities to stimulate prior knowledge, main content delivery, guided practice, and formative assessments for understanding. What distinguishes me as a tutor is my dedication to creating a supportive learning environment, coupled with personalized attention to each student's growth. I have been tutoring fo rover 27 years, privately as well as through my employer. My lessons are for students in 5-9th grade.
