For Example:
Lesson Plan: Traveling through Time with Verb Tenses

Objective: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to master the art of time travel by correctly using past, present, and future verb tenses in writing and conversation.

Materials Needed:
- Whiteboard and markers
- Handout containing verb tense examples and practice exercises
- Class set of pencils and paper
- A time machine (just kidding!)

Introduction (10 minutes):
- Review of the basics of verb tenses and their usage in language.
- An interactive quiz on the biggest grammar mistakes of all time (no pun intended).
- Explanation of the three major verb tenses: past, present, and future.

Body (30 minutes):
- "Back to the Past": a whiteboard activity, where students take turns traveling back in time and changing a given sentence to match the correct past tense.
- "Fast Forward to the Future": handout activity where students practice writing their own sentences in the future tense with a creative touch.
- "Presenting the Present": a group exercise where students work together to identify present tense verbs in a story.

Conclusion (10 minutes):
- An entertaining wrap-up of the lesson where students can share a fun fact or story about time travel or verb tenses.
- Homework assignment: write a short story using all three verb tenses, including one creative sentence for each.
