About Me I am currently an English professor at New Mexico State University and pursuing my Master's degree in Creative Writing (Poetry). I graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in English and Creative Writing and have been recognized as both an Academic All-American and a recipient of multiple academic honors and scholarships. My experience includes: Editor-in-Chief of the GreenLight Literary Journal—overseeing publication, managing an editorial team, and guiding writers through the editing process. Published poet with award-winning work featured in national anthologies and literary journals. 10+ years of tutoring and mentoring students at the university level through academic writing centers and private sessions. Winner of the National Amateur Poetry Competition (2024) and multiple university honors in English.
