About Hala

As a professional English teacher, I bring extensive experience in teaching both in the United States and internationally. Currently an ESL/ELA teacher, I specialize in helping students from diverse backgrounds develop their language skills. My teaching approach is student-centered, focusing on creating engaging, interactive lessons that cater to varying proficiency levels. I excel in curriculum planning, classroom management, and fostering a positive learning environment. With strong communication skills and cultural awareness, I help students not only improve their language abilities but also gain confidence in expressing themselves in English. My adaptability and commitment to student growth are central to my teaching philosophy. About the lesson

My English lessons are engaging, interactive, and tailored to students' needs. It begins with a clear objective, followed by a bellringer to activate prior knowledge. The core involves a mix of reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities, promoting critical thinking and language practice. Students can either work individually or collaborate through discussions or group work, while I provide them targeted feedback. Visual aids and real-life examples enhance understanding. The lesson ends with a reflective activity or a formative assessment to reinforce key concepts and check whether knowledge has been transferred. I believe that this approach ensures students are actively involved and confident in applying what they’ve learned.
