About Sarah
I think learning should be fun! Even if it's hard. That mindset and my patience and genuine care for my students are what set me apart. I've had two years of training as a college study skills and English tutor. I've also been a nanny several times and have a lot of experience working with kids. I've learned that people of every age and background need to feel genuinely loved. Once they realize they're important in someone's eyes, they have more confidence to succeed on their own.
I love helping students be able to be independant. I give them the skills and encouragement they need to realize that they have what it takes to be a successful student.
I started tutoring as a nanny when I turned 16. I've been teaching kids and college student ever since.
I'm a college student who's had two years of training and working as a professional tutor on campus. I specialize in helping teach study skills. I've mostly worked with students who have learning disorders or mental health problems.

I love asking questions to get to know the student because building trust in a tutor-student relationship is a very important first step. Also, each personality learns differently and has different struggles, so I take the chance to try and figure these out so I can adapt my teaching style.
I've worked with a lot of students with learning disorders, disabilities such as blindness, and mental health issues.
Look for someone who loves to have fun! Second, look for somone who's has experience.
I got married last Summer! It's fun to be with someone who wants to help you grow as a person.
