About Shivangi

I utilize my structural mind to my advantage and make sure that all the qualities for good writing and English are present.

I love writing and teaching writing! have used writing for several means: critical and analytical writing, creative writing, college essay writing, and so on. I love sharing the developed writing techniques that I have mastered and found it satisfying to study the improvement in a student's writing.

I started teaching English, writing, and K-12 general edcuation since 2017 after graduating high school.

In my past tutoring experience, I constructed learning curriculums resulting in an increase of 2 letter grades for 100% of my students. I am flexible in teaching a variety of subjects, but I would love to specify in writing. I have helped several students with their college application essays, essays for class, and resume writing overall resulting in acceptance into schools as competitive as the UC system.

About the lesson

First, I like to assess what the student's goals are and what they need assistance in. Then, I create a plan to achieve those goals depending on the student's learning style. With this, the student and I will work through these goals and alter any teaching methods that may be more effective.

I have worked with students ranging from 7-13 and with learning disabilities like ADHD.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
-What are your goals?

-What do you need help in?

-What do you want to improve?

-What is your learning style?

Shivangi is such a brilliant and kind tutor, my experience with her was amazing!! Last year I applied to UCLA/ Berkeley and I was so nervous about the personal insight questions. However, with the help of Shivangi’s stellar writing and editing skills my anxieties were alleviated! She was so patient and genuinely wanted to help. Shivangi helped me clean up my sentences/grammatical errors as well as helped me stay concise when writing. With her assistance, my essays became a lot stronger than they originally were. I also got accepted into these prestigious universities and I’m just so grateful to have met Shivangi because she really did help me through the process. 10/10 recommend!

I reached out to Shivangi when I was struggling to write a couple of my essays. Writing has never been a strong suit for me especially in analyzing and writing theses. She helped me put my thoughts onto paper with her highly developed skills in analysis and even worked with me to develop a strong thesis. She was extremely patient, kind, punctual in helping me get my papers done it time and knows what a professor is looking for in a paper. I highly recommend Shivangi in editing papers , I ended up with A's on both of my essays
