Private tutoring is one of the best ways to promote learning as it gives the student confidence to engage with the teacher without interruption from other students. The lessons are 40 minutes duration and personalized to suit the individual needs of the student, thus producing the desired results. Most of the instruction will be student-centered while there will instances where teacher-centered approaches may be necessary to bring across certain concepts that present a level of difficulty.
I am a UWI-certified graduate teacher with over 25 years of experience in teaching English, Mathematics to students from Grades 4-9.
I also hold a degree in History from the University of the West Indies.
