About Maia
To introduce myself, I’ll inform you a bit about my personality and my interests.
• I have a deep connection with music, especially with my favorite album, Midnights by Taylor Swift.
• I enjoy the outdoors, but I also love a day at home to chill with my cats.
• Everyday, I find new words that I don’t know the definition of, and then I learn it. With that knowledge, I educate others.
• My passion is education, as well as reading & writing. Many years ago, I used to read and write fan-fiction about my celebrity crushes. Reading improves your literacy and vocabulary, while telling a story.

I strive to make sure all of my students get the best education possible, as I care for each and every one. Not everybody learns the same way, so I base my lesson plans on what each student is wanting to focus on, whether that’s grammar, spelling, literacy, or vocabulary. Each student gets a customized lesson plan based off of their focus and their current skill set. I believe that everybody should be able to do anything they want, so I teach all ages as long as they can read & write. I also try to provide affordable rates. With that being said, my rate is $15 per hour.
