About Fiona
I originally trained as a Paramedic and have moved to Geelong to volunteer whilst I continue a Master of Public Health online. Though in science now, all of my year twelve subjects were humanities units where I developed a keen interest in writing and literature. I am a lifelong bookworm with a passion for understanding not only the context and content of a text, but its broader meaning and impact on society.

I am a problem-solver by nature and my teaching approach is to identify both the technical issues and the gaps in broader understanding of a subject in order to improve writing. In order to help, I'll need a sample of your current writing to review beforehand. I'll also be sure to read the text in question so as to fully utilise our session. I believe teaching should be constructive and I encourage an open and positive dialogue in order to make progress.

Any travel outside the Geelong area will incur fuel costs. Cancellation must occur more than 48 hours in advance to avoid charges due to scheduling. Rates are negotiable also: if you have a specific issue or upcoming test to work on, this can be taken into account.
