About Salem

I’m a data engineer and analyst by profession — so I spend a lot of time thinking, writing, and communicating ideas clearly and creatively. But beyond numbers and code, English has always been one of my biggest passions. My mom inspired me to write when I was younger, and ever since then, writing has been my favorite way to express myself and connect with others. I first discovered my love for teaching when I used to tutor my little sister back home. She didn’t struggle with English, but I loved finding fun ways to make it come alive — through stories, role-plays, and creative writing games. When I moved to the U.S., I continued tutoring both online and over FaceTime, helping students discover their own voices and confidence in English. Now, as someone who uses communication every day in my professional life, I know how valuable strong writing and expression skills are — not just for school, but for the future. My goal is to help kids build those same skills in a fun, creative, and encouraging way. I’d love to help your child express their ideas, discover their unique writing style, and see English as something exciting — not intimidating. Together, we can turn learning into a space for creativity, confidence, and growth.

About the lesson

I’ve always loved helping people discover how fun and exciting English can be! I actually started tutoring when I was younger — helping my little sister with her schoolwork. She didn’t struggle with English, but I loved finding creative ways to make reading, writing, and speaking even more interesting for her. We’d turn grammar into games, stories into little plays, and studying into something we actually looked forward to.
That experience stuck with me. When I moved to the U.S., I kept tutoring students online and sometimes over FaceTime. I’ve worked with learners of all ages — helping them build confidence, improve their speaking, and actually enjoy learning English.

Parents appreciate that I’m patient, encouraging, and make lessons feel personal — never boring! Kids like that I bring energy and creativity to every session, so learning feels more like a fun challenge than homework.
