About Maya

I truly enjoy partnering all my students in achieving their goals. As a private art teacher I have experience teaching all ages and abilities. As an academic tutor there is nothing better than a student's newfound confidence in a subject!

About the lesson

My method consists of working with the student to see where they are now; what feedback they are consistently getting from teachers. Then we can devise a way to develop competence in those areas. I've personally found that marking/commenting on students' writing and occasionally providing my own "good answers" as a learning sample has been highly effective.

Graduated top of state in English Literature and a working art teacher.
