Whenever I am teaching something new to my students first I test my learners level. I try to determine the gap between the topic and the learner. Whenever I get my learners level, I try to carry him/her to a higher step. Then finally step by step, I will match the topic and learner.
My teaching method is helping students to understand the concepts and definitions in depth rather than memorizing. I will also try to solve problems in many ways so that students can have a broad picture of the topic they are studying. At the end of every class, I will also summarize everything to give students an overview of the lesson.
I have a flexible schedule. I always try to teach in a more entertaining and fun way than the boring teaching method used by teachers these days. I am a dedicated student and I can help teach productive work habits along with studying skills.
My teaching method is based on active learning. I encourage students to actively participate in the class. They should clear their queries. I demonstrate an exoample of every concept I teach them. I would also like to gove them some recommended exercises.
My teaching methods are explaining deeply the mathematical concepts and then following up with supervised practice, as well as assigning homework problems. In a typical class, the ratio of teaching to supervised practice would be about half and half. I have lots of experience teaching math before as I have done it in high school.
I have tutored friends in the past who have struggled with their pattern recognition skills. The best thing I can provide to you in ensuring your success is my time and patience. Many struggle due to poor fast paced teaching. Calculus can be done reliably and consistently in most cases and my goal is to provide that to you.
I feel each student has their own pace and own way of learning and try to figure out this way with the student. I tailor the classes to make it comfortable for the student to learn.
I approach Physics and Mathematics subjects with structures; I look at the students background, and I am flexible to their needs. In my teaching I like to bring related examples to clarify the subject better.
Every student has a unique way of grasping new knowledge. As a private tutor, it is important for me to first learn how you learn. Finally, patience and looking at the subject at hand from a different perspective are the key to comprehension.
I start by questioning the student on how much they know of the subject, to increase their focus level. I organize the notes well, teach step by step. Stop if any question asked. And encourage students to solve problems by them self and helping them in their way.
I reach out to the basics and algorithm of doing each type of calculus problems.
I try to find methods to relate the study to incidents of day-to-day life. This way, even if the student who usually face problems in remembering stuff, will remember that incident that is connected to the study.
My teaching starts with identifying the level a student is at and strengthen the student's skill and understanding from there on.
I believe in remedial approach.
My teaching methods are flexible but tend to use practical real-world examples to ease the understanding of concepts. I am comfortable with tutoring students from grades 8-12 in Mathematics. I prefer giving one on one lessons or help sessions to make it easier for students to properly get a grasp on the content rather than feeling rushed.
I follow the Saskatchewan Curriculum and adapt to teaching strategies on the base of students. I strongly believe that a Classroom is a place with a learning environment. Students must follow proper rules and regulation to maintain the atmosphere. In my classroom, students must Be regular, respectful towards teacher and peer, be a listener, be patient, no bullying, and helpful.
By using demonstrations, explainations, and examples to initially teach the topic to the student, the subject can be easily grasped and elaborated upon easily. Implementing procedural steps once a concrete foundation on the subject is formed, the student will be able to solve problems independently in testing and real-life school situations.
I am experienced in tutoring the following courses UBC Math 100, UBC Math 101, UBC Math 102, UBC Math 103, UBC Math 104, UBC Math 105, UBC Math 110, UBC Math 152, UBC Math 180, UBC Math 184, UBC Math 200, UBC Math 215, UBC Math 220, UBC Math 221, UBC Math 253, UBC Math 256, UBC Math 300, UBC Math 312, UBC Math 315, UBC Math 316, UBC Math 317, AND SFU Math 100, SFU MACM 101, SFU Math 150, SFU...
I figure out what is not being understood and explain in a simple, straightforward, and patient manner. I walk them through the steps making sure they fully understand why these steps are being done.
My teaching method usually involves preparing lessons along with whatever material or tests that the student requires to achieve their goal
Throughout my undergraduate degree (BSc (Honours) major in Geology), I took diverse university-level classes including calculus, applied math, chemistry, and geoscience. I found I enjoyed the problem-solving assignments and was even good enough to teach my classmates during lab/tutorial sessions.
My method of teaching highly depends on students' abilities and needs. Over the years, I have developed modifiable teaching skills that are not the same for every student, but exciting and appealing to all.
My teaching methodology’s differ from student to student approaching each subject in several ways so at least one way will be good for the student
I approach each lesson with an aim to answer all questions while advancing the way you think about each question
I approach any learning problem from the start. I get the student to first explain to me what they are doing and when they make a mistake, I take over and continue from there and explain the remainder of the topic.
My teaching methods are- i first explain the methods and concepts of problems to the students and then let them do to practice. If still they face problems i teach them again more deeply with different examples.
I believe one on one teaching helps the student to focus and learn the things faster. I would like to make the subject as concepts and teach the students and helps them to solve problems.
I would like to tutor younger students who need help going over their homework, preparing for tests, and am willing to do anything to help them learn individually including make flash cards. I have a slight amount of tutoring experience with my high school called Conversation Partners with the intention of helping international students better their written and spoken English.
I help a student find herself or himself the right answer by probing and prompting. I find it creative and interesting way to transfer the know how. To get student to participate to their full potential, I am fun and try my best to use fun, not boring examples.
My method of teaching would be focused on solving the problem just not in one ways but showing the other possibilities of solving a sum.
