My methodology is simple- the more you practice the more your concepts are clear. Mathematics is a course wherein you cant read and answer questions based on facts provided to you like in other sciences. It is more of application, brain work and logic sense. I like to clear one chapters concepts by giving as much practice to a person of variety of problems.
I prefer to first identify students’ background knowledge and adapt course materials accordingly to provide students with necessary concepts. I am also willing to go beyond the what is expected to ensure that each student gain the fundamental concepts taught.

Upon meeting and running through a sample session, we can determine if weekly one hour sessions are ideal, or multiple sessions every week would be more beneficial. I do expect my students to be engaged and actively participate in these sessions. Depending on the student, I may assign additional homework if I think it will help.
