About Shankar Dev
Hello! I am a faculty of Department of geography, Kalindi college, Delhi University and a PhD student in Geography with a strong academic background and a passion for teaching. I completed BSc (Hons) in Geography from University of Rajasthan and MSc in Geography from Jamia Millia Islamia, and I am currently pursuing my PhD at Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra. I have cleared UGC NET 5 times, CDS written exam twice, and appeared for UPSC exams, clearing CSAT. Alongside, I have years of experience teaching Social Sciences passionately. I teach Classes 8–12 in Hinglish, focusing on concept clarity, problem-solving, and exam-oriented strategies, helping students gain confidence, improve grades, and enjoy learning.

My Teaching Approach 1. Teaching Techniques & Methods: I focus on concept clarity, logical reasoning, and interactive learning. I use examples from daily life, maps, and case studies to make Social Sciences engaging and relatable. 2. Structure of a Class: Introduction: Brief overview of the topic. Explanation: Step-by-step conceptual explanation. Illustration: Use of examples, maps, and diagrams. Practice/Discussion: Encourage questions and problem-solving. Recap: Summarize key points and provide tips for exams. 3. Special Features as a Teacher: Teaching in Hinglish for better understanding. Emphasis on building strong fundamentals and exam skills. Interactive & personalized approach to address individual student needs. 4. Intended Students: Classes are designed for school children (Classes 8–10) to build confidence, improve grades, and develop a strong foundation in Social Sciences.
